RB Salzburg likely to reject new £20m offer from Leeds United for Brenden Aaronson - Ryan Taylor

RB Salzburg are set to turn down a new £20million offer for Brenden Aaronson from Leeds United this week.

That’s according to Ryan Taylor of the Express, who shared news regarding the new bid as the Whites made a second stab at signing the American international.

Leeds are said to not be willing to give up on Aaronson, with Victor Orta in Austria to try and get a deal over the line.

If Leeds do fail this month, it is shared that they will be going in once again in the summer to try and get a deal over the line.

Orta looks determined to get this one done as soon as possible, though, with Aaronson certainly looking like the number one priority at Elland Road.

Marcelo Bielsa will be desperate for reinforcements, with injuries continuing to ravage through the squad far too often.

Third time lucky.

It looks as though Leeds may need to try their luck once again before the end of the January window in 10 days time.

Aaronson is clearly the one they want, and with his American roots, the 49ers will surely be eager to help fund this move too.

If going up to £25millionis what it takes, then it simply has to be done, Andrea Radrizzani will know that – especially if he wants European football as much as he says he does.

Mateusz Klich and Rodrigo have been playing in that attacking midfield role, but it isn’t their out-and-out position, meaning they have often struggled.

It is time to stop messing around and get a specialist in who can really shine in-behind the number nine at Elland Road – that man is Aaronson.
