RB Salzburg chief issues update on Leeds United target Mohamed Camara
RB Salzburg sporting director Christoph Freund has remained coy on the future of Leeds United target Mohamed Camara.
He has admitted that anything can happen in the transfer window and refuses to be drawn into making a statement one way or another
This comes after the Daily Mail reported on June 27 that Leeds were in talks to sign him.

“Mo still has a three-year contract with us, so it’s also possible that he’ll continue to play in Salzburg. I can’t predict if Leeds are also willing to buy him out of his contract, but in football, a lot can happen very quickly,” Freund told Salzburger Nachrichten.
Forget him
With Marc Roca done and Tyler Adams on his way to Elland Road, Leeds are signing two midfielders this summer.
If Darko Gyabi from Manchester City is considered then that will make it three and should end their summer business in that area of the pitch.
With Kalvin Phillips being the only midfield departure it does not make sense to stack up the squad with similar players.
Instead, they need to channel their resources towards signing a striker and possibly a left-back as well.
Junior Firpo has not looked convincing enough while Stuart Dallas’ injury record means that he cannot be trusted to stay fit for the entire season.
The same can be said about Patrick Bamford and with Rodrigo or Dan James struggling to replace him, another striker is desperately needed.
In other Leeds United, a Whites defender heavily admired by Marcelo Bielsa could permanently seal his permanent exit this summer with there being genuine interest in his services.
