Rasmus Kristensen wants to join Leeds United instead of Borussia Dortmund and Brentford
RB Salzburg defender Rasmus Kristensen is set to turn down other offers to seal a major transfer to Leeds United, according to the Yorkshire Post.
The newspaper have reported on their website that the Danish international is set to “rebuff” offers from Brentford and Borussia Dortmund to move to Elland Road.
It is now widely shared that the Whites are on the verge of agreeing to an £8.5million fee to bring yet another one of the Austrian champions to West Yorkshire.

Victor Orta has moved quickly to really reinforce this squad for Jesse Marsch.
The American is clearly using his old ties to his advantage, having worked with Kristensen and Brenden Aaronson during his time at RB Salzburg years ago.
The Daily Mail also reported that the right-back’s previous relationship with Marsch proved to be a decisive factor as he made this huge choice.

Lovely.
Marcelo Bielsa definitely helped Leeds attract players of a certain ilk during his tenure, and now Marsch is doing the exact same in his own special way.
RB Salzburg have improved tremendously in recent years, getting into the knockout stages of the Champions League last season and even held them in Austria to a draw.
Aaronson and Kristensen played huge roles in that, and the chance to move to the Premier League has come.
Beating Borussia Dortmund to this signing is huge too, with guaranteed Champions League football something that could have tipped the deal in their favour, but that wasn’t the case.
Luke Ayling is going to have a battle on his hands to stay in this Leeds side now, and given that Kristensen will have two months with no competition due to injury issues, this could be the baton changing hands.
This one should be done this week.
