Barcelona are reportedly expecting Leeds United to sanction Raphinha's exit by the end of June which will see him finalise terms.

According to Sport, they are expecting the Whites to give the green signal to the Brazilian to seal a permanent exit from Elland Road.

Raphinha and his agent Deco then will know what's needed to carry out the final terms of his big-money move to the Catalan Giants.

Twists after twists

This Raphinha saga has been going on for months and it finally seems like it's heading to a conclusion at the end of June.

We've known since day one that Barcelona are his preferred destination and he finally appears to be getting the move he wants to Camp Nou.

The Catalan Giants look to have won the race for him and all they need to do is muster the funds and match Leeds' valuation.

Raphinha himself will ask the club to wait as he knows that's where he wants to play his football for the foreseeable future.

He will challenge for trophies and play an exciting brand of football under Xavi which is not likely to happen under Jesse Marsch.

With the sale of Kalvin Phillips, the squad will be weaker next season and this is the summer when the iron is hot and Leeds will not get a bigger fee for him after this.
