Fabrizio Romano shares if RB Leipzig ace Tyler Adams has agreement to join Leeds United
RB Leipzig defensive midfielder Tyler Adams reportedly has not agreed to join Leeds United or any club this summer.
According to Sky Sports journalist Fabrizio Romano, the 23-year-old is expected to leave the Bundesliga club this summer, with the Whites being suitors for his services.
Jesse Marsch is understood to consider the American as an option to bolster his central midfield options in his first window in charge of Leeds.
Speaking on the Que Golazo Podcast on June 14, Romano said, “Yes, my feeling is that he will leave the club this summer.
“There is nothing agreed with any club, you mention that clubs are interested, and that is normal, so many clubs are exploring this possibility, including Leeds, but at the moment there is nothing agreed upon, at the moment Leeds are focused on Marc Roca from Bayern.
“But for Tyler Adams, he’s a player they have on their list, for Jesse Marsch it is normal for him to consider him an interesting opportunity for the midfield, it is not advanced, but to answer your question, I see Tyler Adams leaving this summer.”

Interesting prospect
Marsch appears to be keen on using his contacts and bringing in players that he’s previously worked with.
Adams appears to be an option he’s keeping in mind in case Kalvin Phillips decides to leave this summer.
Manchester City are hot on the England international’s heels and could tempt him to leave Elland Road this summer.
If that happens, Leeds could make a move for the 23-year-old Bundesliga midfielder who has fallen down the pecking order at Leipzig.
He was labelled “sensational” by Larry Henry Jr. – a journalist and an expert on American footballers – for the performance against Borussia Monchengladbach in February 2021.
Whether or not he will be a good fit in the Premier League, remains to be seen, but it’s refreshing to see the Whites having contingency plans in place.
