Pundit predicts Manchester United fan fury if James Garner joins Leeds United
Luke Chadwick believes that James Garner’s proposed move to Leeds United may not go down well with the Manchester United fans.
The English midfielder is an academy product at Old Trafford and is currently out on loan at Nottingham Forest.
He has been excelling in the Championship and there are certain sections of the fanbase that want him to play a first-team role next season.

However, if the Whites have their way, they could manage to sign him from their rivals.
According to The Athletic, Leeds are big admirers of the young midfielder and will be looking to sign him in the summer.
Discussing this with Caught Offside, Chadwick, an MUTV pundit, said, “The rivalry with Leeds means it wouldn’t go particularly well down with the fanbase,” Chadwick added.
“Obviously, James Garner has a decision to make as well because I am sure he has got a real taste for first-team football after being a key part of the improvements at Nottingham Forest this season.
“I wouldn’t be surprised if we see him in and around United’s first-team during pre-season to see what he can offer the club going forward.”
Weird one
It’s not like Garner is a regular there who’s leaving them hanging for their rivals.
First and foremost, he cares about the betterment of his career.

Warming the bench at Old Trafford is not going to benefit him at all.
The best thing he can do is leave for regular first-team minutes and he’s proven that he could put in a shift in central midfield in the Premier League.
Leeds need at least a couple of players in that position in the summer so we do not mind seeing Garner at Elland Road.
In other Leeds United news, the Whites are leading the race to complete a major signing and have already opened talks to seal a £25m deal.
