Phil Hay: Raphinha back in plenty of time for Leeds clash v Spurs

Phil Hay has shared that Leeds United star Raphinha will be back with plenty of time before the Premier League clash against Spurs.

During the last international break, the Brazilian star faced a race against the clock to get back to England but ended up missing the Southampton clash.

Pictured on a private plane with other Premier League stars such as Allison, Raphinha will likely be back in the country already.

Writing on his personal Twitter account, Hay shared the brilliant news that the superstar will be back in plenty of time.

“Really has been some Brazilian introduction for Raphinha,” he wrote. “High drama.

“And the good news is he’s headed back in plenty of time for Spurs away.”

Raphinha was left bloodied after an elbow from Nicolas Otamendia on Tuesday, and it has been the talk of the town in Brazil.

They have even launched an official complaint regarding the altercation and two officials have even been suspended.

Thankfully, the winger was fine and looked in brilliant spirits returning to the United Kingdom on this plane.

Back with plenty of time to spare, the winger will likely train at Thorp Arch before the trip to London which will probably take place on Saturday.

Marcelo Bielsa will be desperate to have his main man available and it looks as though he will get that wish against Spurs – now to collect the three points.
