Phil Hay passes on Stuart Dallas message to Leeds United fans after crushing injury news

Phil Hay has passed along the first message from Stuart Dallas after the crushing Leeds United injury blow this weekend.

The Northern Irishman suffered a fractured femur after a clash with Manchester City attacker Jack Grealish.

Hay has shared that Dallas is extremely grateful for every last message he has received from fans in the past 48 hours.

Writing on his personal Twitter account, Hay shared what Dallas has asked to be passed along to the fans.

“Been asked to pass on how much Dallas appreciates the messages and support he’s had since Saturday,” he wrote.

“He’s very grateful for it all.”

Amazing.

Even after the crushing news of this injury blow, Dallas still finds time to thank everyone around him.

The defender has been sensational in the past four years at Elland Road, and deserves every last message passed along to him.

Currently in London along with Rob Price awaiting surgery and scans, Dallas will be in serious pain and worry regarding his career.

For everything he has given to this club, the least we could all do is wish him well and send messages.

We have everything crossed that surgery and rehabilitation will be a success and we will get to see him back out on the pitch next season.

Hopefully, that will be in the Premier League, as we look to survive for him and the club as a whole.

Some things are more important than football, and Dallas recovering is certainly one of them – we wish him the best of luck on his road back to full health.

You’ve got this.
