Phil Hay: Leeds will resolve Bielsa future before Man United clash
Leeds United are fast approaching the opening game of the Premier League season against Manchester United on Saturday.
In what comes as no surprise, Marcelo Bielsa is still yet to sign his next contract at Elland Road to secure his future.
Despite taking charge of all our pre-season games, no announcement has been made on the future of El Loco, despite the deal being all-but-done.

Phil Hay has responded to a fan on Monday afternoon, and he appears as calm as can be with five days to go.
Writing on his personal Twitter account, the Athletic journalist shared that the Whites will get there and confirm the deal.
“Same as last summer,” he wrote. “They’ll get there.”
Same again.
Bielsa did the exact same last season, and waited until the very last moment to sign his new deal and get it announced before that trip to Anfield.
Whether it is El Loco waiting to see if his transfer demands are met, or simply because he prefers to concentrate on our preparation rather than his own future.
There will be guarantees made, Bielsa keeps his word and we expect the deal to be announced – it is only past experiences with this club that keep us biting our nails.
Andrea Radrizzani has a lot to thank Bielsa for, and every single Leeds fan will be sat just thinking we need to throw anything we can at god to keep him at Elland Road.
None of this would have been possible without him, and thankfully, Bielsa has made West Yorkshire his home, he will continue to be worshipped here.
