Phil Hay: Leeds have made no progress with Noa Lang deal
Leeds United fans were left delighted on Friday as Noa Lang had reportedly agreed personal terms with the club.
Voetbal Belgie had reported that the Whites were making progress over a deal with Club Brugge, and the winger was destined for England.
That doesn’t appear to be the case, with Phil Hay now shedding light on the ongoing situation this month.
The Athletic journalist was questioned by fans on Friday, as they wanted the news from the main man himself.
Writing on his personal Twitter account, Hay removed all doubt from the situation with a blunt one-word response.
“No,” he wrote.

Fun while it lasted.
Well, that looks like another we can cross off the list.
There was delight around West Yorkshire over the potential of Lang arriving in the next weeks, and it has already been taken away from us.
Midfield looks to still be the area where we’re looking to strengthen, and with little progress made there either, it could be a nervous couple of weeks.
Victor Orta will be working non-stop on either side of our Premier League fixtures and will be looking to make severe progress between today’s meeting with Everton and the trip to Burnley next week.
It’s time to put our foot down and make some more additions, the squad is in desperate need of some and we can’t miss this opportunity.
Last week proved we don’t have the best squad depth, and it is now time to rectify that with a couple of new signings.
