Peter Crouch shares 'genuine issues' view at Leeds United
Peter Crouch has claimed there are “genuine issues” at Leeds United despite their win against Norwich City on Sunday (March13).
Jesse Marsch stole his first win as the Whites’ manager thanks to a last gasp Joe Gelhardt strike in the 94th minute of added time.
The 2-1win saw Leeds increase the gap to the drop zone to four points as their relegation rivals lost.
He wrote in his Daily Mail column: “If there is one cliche I can get on board with, it is ‘six-pointer’ as those games are massive.
“No team is ‘too good to go down’. There are genuine issues at Everton. And Leeds, despite yesterday’s win over Norwich, are in trouble.
“I always feel that starting to panic earlier is beneficial. Realise you’re in a scrap, embrace it.”

Yesterday certainly was a six pointer. Defeating rock bottom Norwich was vital not only for the points but for the confidence of the team and Marsch.
Could you imagine the terrible mood around the camp had the Whites lost at home to the Canaries, extending the American’s losing streak at the club?
They now have a lifeline and something to build on under the new boss which could be the difference between staying up and going down.
The players and the fans can breathe a tiny, tiny bit easier now Marsch has his first win under his belt. Although, he would have been the most relieved out of the lot having not made the impact he would’ve hoped to when taking charge following the departure of Marcelo Bielsa.
It was almost the perfect weekend for the Whites with all of their rivals, other than Watford, dropping points.
However, there is still a long way to go and Everton’s three games in hand is quite worrying. All they can do now is continue to win as many games as possible.
