Pablo Hernandez reacts to Leeds United handing Adam Forshaw new contract

Leeds United confirmed the news this week that Adam Forshaw had been handed a new contract at Elland Road.

One of those delighted by the news was Whites hero Pablo Hernandez, who reacted to the extension on social media.

Forshaw has extended his stay for an extra year in West Yorkshire, with the option for another season on top of that.

Writing on his personal Instagram account, Forshaw delivered a message sharing his delight at the news.

“Me and my family couldn’t be happier to extend my stay at Leeds United,” he wrote. “A club like no other.”

Hernandez was straight into the responses in the comments, much to the delight of every Leeds fan around.

“Well done bro,” he hailed. “Congrats.”

Great news.

This is exactly how every Leeds fan feels.

Forshaw is more than deserving of this new contract and has been rewarded by the club for his form in the Premier League.

Many thought his career was over at Elland Road, with two years of injury blows keeping him out of action for the majority of this current contract.

It is a testament to him that he has managed to fight his way back into the first team, keep his spot and earn this new deal.

We love that Hernandez is still keeping up to date too, El Mago will always be welcome back to West Yorkshire.
