'Obsessed with us', 'Cheated' - Some Leeds fans react to Bristol City ace comments before clash

Bristol City forward Nahki Wells has provoked a bit of a reaction from Leeds United supporters ahead of this weekend’s meeting between the two sides at Elland Road.

Ahead of the Championship fixture Wells, 29, has spoken of his “history” with Leeds – something which has left some fans on Twitter baffled about what exactly he means [Bristol Post].

Wells has scored three goals in his nine total appearances against Leeds with one of them coming earlier this season when he was on loan at QPR.

The former Burnley striker found the back of the net after appearing to handle the ball, so while he says he has “history” with the Whites, fan have suggested that his history is that he is a cheat.

Since joining Bristol City in the January transfer window, Wells has scored one goal in three appearances.

He found the net on Wednesday night as the Robins won 3-2 against Derby, so he travels to Elland Road on Saturday on a high after scoring his first goal for his new club.
