N’Golo Kante injury update shared ahead of Chelsea v Leeds United Premier League clash
N’Golo Kante is in line to make his Chelsea return in Saturday’s Premier League fixture against Leeds United, according to The Times.
The World Cup winner has been a long-term absentee from Graham Potter’s side with a serious hamstring injury and has recently taken part in light training.
However, The Times now claim (28 February) the 31-year-old is now in line to return against Javi Gracia’s side at Stamford Bridge.

The news will come as a big boost for Potter, who will be without Thiago Silva after the Brazilian was forced off during the 2-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur.
Quality
Chelsea have been struggling at present and Potter is on extremely thin ice heading into this fixture. However, the fact they’ve got players like Kante coming back to full fitness displays the strength in depth of their squad.
The money they have dished out in the last two transfer windows has been like nothing we have seen before, and it would not be a surprise if this side started to produce the goods soon.

We all know Potter is a good manager; his time at Brighton displayed this. However, the board at Stamford Bridge will expect results. There’s a golden opportunity for the Whites to head to West London and frustrate their hosts. The longer they can stay rigid defensively the higher chance they will have of picking up a positive result.
Tuesday evening’s defeat against Fulham was disappointing, but in the grand scheme of things, this weekend’s fixture holds far more importance. Two Premier League wins on the spin could be invaluable.
In other Leeds United news, the club may now face a losing battle to keep their star player at Elland Road beyond the summer transfer window.
