MOT View: 3 key teams in action for Leeds fans today, one may provide big clue to major transfer
It’s a big, big day for Leeds United fans today with two of the major summer signings potentially facing off against each other.
It’s Rodrigo against Robin Koch as Germany take on Spain in the UEFA Nations League in a blockbuster international tie.
Both could play, with Bundesliga expert Alex Chaffer saying a three-man defence “should almost certainly see Robin Koch start for Germany.”
That game kicks off at 7.45pm and the game is live on Sky Sports Premier League.
However, one that is potentially of even more interest to the Leeds fans is the Udinese friendly against Legnago Salus.
Kick-off for this game is 6pm tonight and Leeds fans will be looking out for any sign of midfielder Rodrigo de Paul.
He’s been linked with a move to Leeds United from some very good sources, with Athletic journalist Phil Hay reiterating that there is “genuine interest” in the Argentina international.
TMW has reported that De Paul’s agent is heading to Italy for talks and that could see the player pulled from the squad for tonight’s game.
If Rodrigo de Paul is named in the line-up it will be a big blow for Leeds fans and show the transfer isn’t as far advanced as they’d hope, with just over a week left before the Premier League starts.
