‘Carrying a knock’, ‘Big role to play’ – MOT Super Fans pick Leeds starting XI v Cardiff
Leeds United finally get the chance to kickstart their promotion push to the Premier League again on Sunday afternoon.
The Championship starts again this weekend, with the Whites travelling to the Welsh capital to face Cardiff City.
Marcelo Bielsa has had his troops back in training for a number of weeks now, with the head coach preferring friendlies within his squad rather than outside opposition.
It feels like an eternity since the 2-0 victory over Huddersfield back in March, with Kalvin Phillips the only player to drop out of the side in that victory.
Gaetano Berardi stepped in that day, with Phillips expected to slot straight back in on Sunday after recovering from his slight knock.

Here’s what they said…

The general response was if it’s not broken, don’t fix it, with the majority wanting the same side that has got us into this position.
The only slightly worrying piece of news was the suggestion that Pablo Hernandez may be carrying a knock, something we will later find out once the team is released on Sunday.
In other Leeds United news, Sean Morrison has made a big Cardiff claim ahead of the clash with the Whites
