Michael Owen issues worrying Leeds United admission
Michael Owen believes that Leeds United are still not completely clear of relegation troubles despite their league position.
Everton and Burnley are currently the clubs fighting for 17th place, but Leeds in 16th are far from out of the relegation scrap.
The Whites face Crystal Palace next but have a tricky run of games against Manchester City, Arsenal and Chelsea after that.

Speaking about Toffees’ possible relegation ahead of their Merseyside derby clash against Liverpool, Owen said on Premier League Productions, “I think Leeds, their goal difference is average. They have got to win another game [to stay up]. Their run is not easy. Need to have half an eye on them.”
Wins needed
Leeds cannot take things for granted as the Premier League is extremely unpredictable.
Results elsewhere can go against them and that would make things difficult for them to stay up and avoid relegation.
Jesse Marsch has done a good job thus far but it does not count for much if they finish in the bottom three.

Their goal difference also makes things tricky as they’ve suffered humiliating defeats against some of the top six clubs.
Arsenal and Manchester City are both going to be difficult to play against as they will face Leeds with a lot at stake.
While relegation is not a huge worry it certainly will be there at the back of the players’ minds.
In other Leeds United news, the Whites are leading the race to complete a major signing and have already opened talks to seal a £25m deal.
