Mark Lawrenson predicts Leeds United clash v Southampton
Mark Lawrenson has backed Leeds United to pick up another important point in the Premier League against Southampton on Saturday.
The BBC pundit has predicted that it will finish 1-1 at Elland Road tomorrow [2 April] making it three unbeaten for the Whites.
Lawrenson pointed out the big blow of losing Patrick Bamford, although the likes of Kalvin Phillips and Liam Cooper will be available.

Writing in his BBC predictions column on Thursday, Lawrenson couldn’t separate either side at Elland Road.
“Having Patrick Bamford out injured again is a big blow for Leeds but at least they have a bit of momentum now after winning their past two games,” he said.
“Their 3-2 victory at Wolves last time out was a crazy game but a great watch – and you just know Jesse Marsch’s side will have a real go again at Elland Road this time.
“It’s hard to know what to expect from Southampton because they seem to go from being on a very good run to being on a very bad one. An entertaining draw probably isn’t a bad shout.”

Big blow.
Of course, losing Bamford for most of the season is a terrible blow.
But, we have seen in recent weeks that the resilience in the squad trumps everything and that spirit could be critical to picking up another win.
Having Phillips and Cooper back available is much bigger, though, and their leadership has been missed hugely.
Marsch will be counting his lucky stars, with the Whites’ defence already looking stronger before a ball has even been kicked.
Before that amazing comeback at Wolves, we were shocking in the first half, we need to avoid that and put in a performance over 90 minutes here.
Bring it on, we’re going for the win.
