Marcelo Bielsa is prepared to be patient with Leeds United midfielder Adam Forshaw
Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa is prepared to be patient with Adam Forshaw as he tries to get the 29-year-old back to his best after a long time out.
The Whites boss has revealed his detailed plan for getting Forshaw back in the first team and back up to his levels in 2018.
The former Brentford man has had a horrible time with injuries, but he finally made his return to the first team earlier this season, and Bielsa is clearly hoping to use him more this season [LeedsLive].

He said: “The process with Forshaw has to be a long one, so he is able to play again at the highest level with his virtues.
“What we need to manage is for Forshaw to complete two games in one week and this doesn’t increase or produce a risk of injury, and he can chain together the games.”
Certainly, it appears as if Bielsa is prepared to be patient with Forshaw as he is clearly a big fan of the midfielder and wants to use him this season.
After being out for so long, we think that the cautious approach is probably wise, and we hope that the whites don’t rush him back and aggravate the injury again.

However, if he continues to make progress, then we expect to see Forshaw feature in the Premier League at some point this season, which would be the ultimate comeback story after the hell he has endured.
We feel that Forshaw deserves some luck with injuries and hope that he is over the worst of his problems and is ready to contribute to the first team.
Clearly, Bielsa is prepared to be cautious with a man who has had such a hard time with injuries and we believe this is the best approach and hope that he makes a vital contribution the team.
