Marcelo Bielsa has no intention of leaving Leeds to take charge of Tottenham

Marcelo Bielsa has no interest in leaving Leeds United in the upcoming summer, according to Luke Edwards.

Football Insider have reported that Spurs are exploring the possibility of approaching El Loco, with his current deal expiring at the end of this season.

The Telegraph journalist has shut down those rumours instantly, claiming that Bielsa is against the idea of Spurs or living in London.

Writing on his personal Twitter account on Friday, Edwards delivered the major update that will have Leeds fans dancing from the rooftops.

“I’m also told Marcelo has no interest in the Spurs job or the thought of living in London,” he wrote.

Never in doubt.

Bielsa loves Wetherby, and Wetherby loves Bielsa.

El Loco would never want to be in the hustle and bustle of London, and that busy lifestyle would never compare to West Yorkshire.

Spurs are a club on the down too, that was clear at Elland Road last week as we easily dismantled their squad full of so-called superstars.

Harry Kane and possibly Heung-Min Son are likely to jump ship in the summer after another year of no silverware, something that Leeds could have a better chance of achieving quicker.

Bielsa is only three years into his reign at the Whites, his longest-ever, he is here to stay and bring the good times back to Elland Road; yes, even better than now.

This was never in question, and it was only desperate pundits linked with the London club who drove the rumours forward, it was never going to happen.
