Marcelo Bielsa confirms Leeds team news v West Ham

Marcelo Bielsa has confirmed his Leeds United team news for the Premier League clash against West Ham on Saturday.

The Whites are still looking for their first win of the season after throwing away all three points at Newcastle last week.

Diego Llorente, Robin Koch and Patrick Bamford will all be out of the game, with Raphinha still a doubt.

Confirmed via Twitter, Bielsa shared his team news ahead of the clash against the Londoners this weekend.

Bielsa confirmed Koch, Bamford and Llorente will be out, but there was uncertainty surrounding Raphinha and Luke Ayling.

Jack Harrison is available, but just because he is ready doesn’t mean he will be starting despite the issues in the squad.

Must win?

Every single game appears to be classed as that after not winning any of our opening five in the Premier League.

That is the first time we have gone winless for that long under Bielsa, and he will be keener than anyone to end that run.

Having said that, it won’t be that easy.

Our team news and the form of West Ham mean that our backs are against the wall going into this one, and a win would be magnificent.

David Moyes will want to bounce back from the defeat against Manchester United in the league last week but returned that favour with a win of their own at Old Trafford in the cup.

Confidence couldn’t be higher at the Irons, and it is down to Leeds to counter that with a huge three points – bring it on.
