Marcelo Bielsa has claimed that Leeds United midfielder Mateusz Klich could play in the “best teams in the world.”
El Loco admitted that Klich is at Elland Road by chance and that all the praise should go to Victor Orta and the player himself.
It is great praise for the Polish international, who continues to grab the headlines even in the Premier League this season.
Leeds Live journalist Beren Cross has shared Bielsa’s comments on his personal Twitter account, and it was great praise for the Pole.
“Klich, for me, can play in all the best teams in the world.”

It’s definitely shining praise, and the majority of it should also go to Bielsa himself.
Klich wasn’t considered an important player at Elland Road when he arrived, but an injury to Adam Forshaw during his first pre-season opened the doors.
The Polish international scored against Stoke in that opening game, and he has never looked back since – only missing a couple of matches in the past three seasons.
Klich has been superb this season.
The step-up in competition in the Premier League has been no problem, and that is testament to his skill and attitude.
The midfielder was everywhere against Arsenal and was a menace in each half. Klich won six out of nine of his defensive duels but also had two shots on goal according to WyScout – two he admits he should probably have scored.
It’s a massive compliment, and it’s a good job that he is already playing for one of the biggest clubs in the world.
