Manchester United line up Youri Tielemans as alternative to Leeds United ace Kalvin Phillips
Manchester United could reportedly line up a move for Youri Tielemans amid difficulties to land Leeds United ace Kalvin Phillips.
According to The Daily Star, Phillips has made it clear that he does not fancy a move to Old Trafford amid the rivalry between the two clubs.
The England international is also currently in contract extension talks at Elland Road.

Dream on
Manchester United can dream all they want of getting Phillips in the summer.
However, once the player has made it clear he does not want to play for them, they’re foolish to retain their interest.
Phillips is Leeds United through and through and would not want to burn bridges with the Elland Road faithful by moving to their arch rivals.
He would want to go down in history as one of the best midfielders to ever don the white for the Yorkshire outfit and he seems to be on track to achieving just that.

Whether or not he signs a new deal remains to be seen, but there is a feeling that he could leave the club in the foreseeable future.
The 26-year-old is undoubtedly a Champions League level player and his ambitions are not being met at Leeds.
Loyalty is one thing and career progression is another and it remains to see if the former can outweigh the latter.
While Leeds fans want him to stay, they know that it could be difficult for them to retain his services.
In other Leeds United news, it is confirmed that the Whites made a ‘Strong offer’ to sign an ‘Exceptional’ Ligue 1 attacker with 10 G+A in 21/22
