Lewis Jones predicts Leeds clash v Spurs

Lewis Jones has backed Leeds United to fall to a heavy defeat against Spurs in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

The Sky Sports expert has predicted that it will finish 3-1 to the home side, who are set to play their first home league game under Antonio Conte.

Marcelo Bielsa is bound to make it one to remember, and it could be a real end-to-end game full of crazy moments.

Writing in his Sky Sports prediction column, Jones predicted that it may be a goal-crazy outing on Sunday afternoon.

“There wasn’t an obvious Antonio Conte bounce for Tottenham at Everton – but it may just explode here,” he wrote.

“Meanwhile, Leeds’ wins and eight of their 11 points this season have come against teams currently below them in the Premier League as they continue to have problems playing teams with better individual quality. I like the home win.”

Explode?

Jones clearly hasn’t been watching the Whites in recent weeks, with new defensive solidarity about them.

We have only conceded four big changes in as many matches and completely dominated Leicester last time out.

Bielsa has welcomed back Adam Forshaw into his midfield recently too, and that is bound to be a huge boost.

That extra midfielder levels out the team and leaves the relentless attacking to those ahead of him and Kalvin Phillips – something that could really benefit Leeds on Sunday.

Harry Kane, Heung-Min Son and Lucas Moura are the three to watch, and if you can keep them quiet, you can easily get at this Spurs defence.

With Christian Romero missing and doubts surrounding Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, they could be there for the taking – time will tell.

In other Leeds United news, the Whites are ready to make major January signings with unexpected deals to force action
