Leeds would need to make ‘Crazy’ bid to sign Brenden Aaronson before deadline – Tom Bogert
Leeds United would need to table a “crazy” bid to sign RB Salzburg midfielder Brenden Aaronson this evening.
That’s according to Tom Bogert, who reports that the Austrian side are set to get their way by keeping hold of the American international.
The freelance journalist who has written for the Guardian shared that eyes are on the summer, despite Leeds pushing hard in the past four weeks for a deal.

Writing on his personal Twitter account, Bogert shared the one thing that could see a deal concluded this evening.
“Salzburg holding firm,” he wrote.
“As I’ve reported, Salzburg want to hold this month as Leeds pushed. Barring a crazy/drastic late bid, RBS will get their way.”
Crazy.
Well, that’s one way of putting it.
Andrea Radrizzani and the 49ers Enterprises must be looking at this and sitting deep in thought, as surely, they could do just that.
Would anyone realistically be concerned if Leeds broke their transfer record to get this one over the line? We don’t think they would.
It would show the kind of ambition that we all want to see at Elland Road, and it would show a big desire to rise the Premier League quickly this season.
Aaronson has so many years ahead of him too and has the potential to pay back every single penny with a long career in West Yorkshire.
Could a £25million bid with add-ons that take it £30million be enough? We think so, and it would be a major statement on deadline day.
