Leeds United will not hire Jesse Marsch if they get relegated

Leeds United are unlikely to be able to get Jesse Marsch if they get relegated.

Marcelo Bielsa’s future has been put under immense scrutiny after the two losses against Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur.

However, Tom Boget has claimed that should the Whites get relegated, it is unlikely to happen.

Via his personal Twitter account, he wrote, “On Jesse Marsch to Leeds reports & how it impacts the future of USMNT’s Brenden Aaronson.

“Leeds remain the favorite & expectation to sign Aaronson from RB Salzburg this summer… as long as they don’t get relegated, per sources. Regardless of Bielsa/Marsch/etc. Talks still on.”

Hope he stays

Bielsa has been the heart and soul of Leeds and a major reason why they’ve secured their Premier League status.

However, things this season have not been ideal for them and he has a massive role to play in it.

He has not delivered the goods and has not managed to tailor his style of play.

Hopefully, the board gives him some leeway as he has been an exemplary manager who’s put his heart and soul for the club.

That said, it’s nigh on impossible to see him at Elland Road next season and this is the harsh reality.

The Argentine still has some credit left in the back and whether or not he makes the most of it remains to be seen.

That said, it seems hard to have him back at the club given everything that’s been going on.
