Leeds United want to sign Manchester City sensation Shea Charles
Leeds United are reportedly keen on Manchester City midfielder Shea Charles who is highly thought of at the Etihad Stadium.
According to Daily Mail [10 April], the Citizens want to keep hold of the 19-year-old but do want to add to their midfield ranks in the summer.
This means that the competition for places will intensify even further pushing the teenager further down the pecking order at the club.

Worth considering
The Citizens have one of the best academies in Europe and have constantly produced talents that have gone on to do well professionally.
Even Darko Gyabi, who was signed by Leeds in the summer, is earmarked for a bright future and Charles could be the same.
The 19-year-old is capable of playing as a defender too so that’s an added feather in his cap and his versatility will mean that he can play a deep-lying midfield role and be comfortable to drop back into the defence without the ball to make it a back three.
He’s also played at right-back in the past and has been lauded for his excellent passing range so Leeds could see him as either Luke Ayling or Liam Cooper’s long-term successor.

Hopefully, they enter talks with the Northern Irish midfielder and see where his head is at over a potential move to Elland Road.
Gyabi could also help smoothen the deal and talk about his experience of moving from Manchester to Leeds and that may convince the teenager.
