Leeds United want to sign Huddersfield Town ace Lewis O’Brien in the summer
Leeds United are reportedly still keen on landing the services of Huddersfield Town midfielder Lewis O’Brien.
The Whites have been linked with a move for the 23-year-old since last summer and have failed to sign a new number eight since then.
Per TEAMtalk, they retain an interest in the player despite him signing a new deal with a release clause believed to be in the region of £12million.

Premier League clubs like West Ham, Crystal Palace, Wolves, Burnley and Norwich City are also keen on signing the Englishman.
Elland Road bound?
It’s no secret that Bielsa has wanted a number eight since Leeds’ first summer in the Premier League.
After securing promotion, the Argentine knew that his midfield needed more bodies to sustain the rigours of the English top flight.
While the first season was fine as the likes of Kalvin Phillips, Mateusz Klich, Stuart Dallas and even Pablo Hernandez chipped in to add to the goals from midfield.

Apart from that, even Rodrigo, who was signed to be a striker was deployed in a deeper midfield role.
However, given the number of injuries this time, it’s been hard to find the right mix and O’Brien could solve that conundrum for the Whites.
The Town midfielder has been labelled “outstanding” in a recent scouting report and we’re sure that he would walk into this playing eleven should he join in the summer.
