Leeds United want to sign Fabio Carvalho, move to Premier League too good to turn down - report

Leeds United are locked in a battle to sign Fulham sensation Fabio Carvalho, according to the Daily Mail.

The newspaper has reported on their website that the Cottagers are desperate to keep the 19-year-old, with his contract running down.

It is suggested, though, that a move to the Premier League could be too good to turn down for Carvalho this month.

Carvalho is described as “incredibly” high-rated, with two other Premier League clubs sniffing around.

Liverpool and West Ham are two of those, with a move away on the cards as we enter the final week of the window.

The England youth international has been in brilliant form, scoring four and assisting one in his last three outings.

Premier League clubs have been on red alert ever since Carvalho rejected a new contract in November, with a move now possible in the next seven days.

Sensation.

Wow, what a move this would be.

It would fit perfectly in the transfer strategy of Leeds, bringing in one of the most highly-rated talents in the country and showing him a direct pathway to first-team football in the Premier League.

There is one big problem, though.

Victor Orta jetted out to Austria in the past week to try and secure the signing of RB Salzburg star Brenden Aaronson.

That means talks could be left to another member of his team, with Carvalho another potential addition this week.

It’s time to get this one done and bring one of the countries best young attacking talents to Elland Road.
