The Leeds United Under-23s are back in action this afternoon and host West Brom at Thorp Arch in a 1.30pm kick-off in Premier League 2.

Leeds are currently in second place in the league with West Brom just two points back in fifth.

And Leeds have put out a super-strong side with Rodrigo starting after playing 20 minutes in the 0-0 with Arsenal on Sunday.

Ian Poveda starts as well, along with Kiko Casilla, with Sam Greenwood on the bench.

Pascal Struijk, Tyler Roberts and Helder Costa make the bench as well, which means six first-team players are involved in all this afternoon.

The team news was announced by the official Leeds United Twitter page on Monday afternoon.

Sam Greenwood is the leading scorer for the Under-23s with an impressive five goals already, despite missing games through injury.

There's no Joe Gelhardt in the squad, which is a surprise. We haven't heard of him picking up an injury but that seems the most likely explanation for his absence.

We can't wait to see Rodrigo in action again this afternoon, as he builds up minutes that should see him start the next game against Everton.

And West Brom's youngsters might well get a shock when they see the current Spain number nine line up against them.

Leeds fans can get their fix of football from Thorp Arch for free, with the game live on the Leeds United social media channels and LUTV.
