Leeds Trust contact club over tickets v West Brom, information set to be released

Leeds United are set to welcome back fans to Elland Road this season, with West Brom our final opponents.

After 16 years out of the top-flight, we were hoping for a more glamorous first tie than our Championship rivals from years gone by.

The ticketing should be decided by balloting, with information surely set to arrive this week with less than a month until the final fixture.

Writing on their official Twitter account on Tuesday afternoon, the Trust are awaiting a response from the club on the final day.

“We’ve asked the club today,” they wrote.

“Will update members when we know more.”

Final day bonanza.

It may seem like a terrible tie to return to for a fan, but it has been that long, that we can’t wait to get back into Elland Road in almost three weeks time.

After smashing West Brom in the reverse fixture at The Hawthorns 5-0, it could be a matchday full of celebrations, especially with the Baggies set for relegation.

Season ticket holders should likely apply for tickets through the balloting system, that could also include gold members; something that could cause controversy.

After the mesmerising season that we have all enjoyed from home, there will be applications through the roof in the next fortnight.

We can all agree that whoever gets the chance to be in the ground to take in the West Brom game will have used all their luck at once, and it will be an incredible spectacle.
