Leeds United transfer news as Jesse Marsch wants another two signings

Leeds United are still looking to make more additions, and the club plan to make at least two more signings in the January window, as reported by 90min.

The Whites have already signed defender Max Wober from Red Bull Salzburg but they are still looking to add another full-back to their ranks, which is now on the high list of priorities for the club.

The Yorkshire club are close to completing the signing of Hoffenheim striker Georginio Rutter, but they are also looking to add a midfielder before the end of the window.

It is understandable that the Whites need another midfielder in their ranks after club-hero Mateusz Klich left Elland Road to join DC United.

However, signing another full-back comes as a surprise for many. The club want to bolster the full-back areas and they see it as a top priority.

It’s not clear whether they are looking for a right-back or a left-back, but nevertheless, the club are planning to add a new player in those positions.

Wober is a central defender but he is well capable of playing as a left-back. It will be interesting to see how Marsch uses him going forward.

The Whites are said to have already held talks to sign Moroccan midfielder Azzedine Ounahi over a possible deal, and he would be a cracking addition.

The 22-year-old dazzled for Morocco during the World Cup and he is wanted by a host of clubs including the likes of Napoli and Leicester City.

It will be a massive window for the Whites if they can land two more players before the end of this month.
