Leeds United told 'sizeable' Cody Drameh bid on cards by Sky Sports pundit as Luton playoff final awaits

We’re delighted to welcome former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson as our exclusive columnist as each week he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at Leeds United

Paul Robinson has suggested it would have to be a “sizeable” bid to tempt Leeds United into selling Cody Drameh this summer.

The 21-year-old is set to feature for Luton on Saturday as the Hatters look to book their place in the Premier League when they face Coventry City in the playoff final.

Drameh has been a standout performer for Rob Edwards’ side and Robinson believes Luton will try and sign the youngster if they’re promoted.

“I think they will probably try,” Robinson exclusively told MOT Leeds News.

“They’ve both had very successful loan spells, especially Drameh at Luton, he’s been a real success story for them this year.

“It would have to be a sizable bid that would tempt Leeds to sell him but you look at who Leeds have in that position. There’s Luke Ayling and Rasmus Kristensen.

“They’ve chopped and changed this season. If Leeds somehow stay up, I suspect they will be reluctant to sell Drameh and bring him back in as part of the squad.”

Drameh has featured 18 times for Luton during the 2022/23 season and has registered two assists to date. He’s contracted to Leeds for one more year and has only made eight first-team appearances.
