Leeds United to enter final stages to secure major Brenden Aaronson signing in coming days – Fabrizio Romano

Leeds United are now closing in on the permanent signing of RB Salzburg star Brenden Aaronson, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The Whites secured their Premier League safety with incredible scenes on the final day after beating Brentford 2-1, and now all eyes are on the window.

Romano has now reported that talks will enter the final stages in the coming days and will see a deal worth up to £24million completed for the summer.

Writing on his personal Twitter account minutes after Leeds survived, Romano shared the huge news that the Whites fans will love.

“Leeds are now close to sign Brenden Aaronson from RB Salzburg,” he wrote.

“Deal in place for months and now set to be completed with Leeds staying in PL, fee around $30m [£24million].

“Talks will enter into final stages in the coming days.”

Get it done.

This will be a brilliant start to the summer.

Andrea Radrizzani will be counting his lucky stars this season, but hopefully, he has learned his lesson.

With big support coming from the 49ers Enterprises hopefully, some big signings could now be made, and starting that with Aaronson will be perfect to bolster our attacking options.

Raphinha could leave over the summer, so bringing in the American before that will be critical and then we will have the windfall from the Brazilian potentially leaving on top of that too.

That could open the door for even more signings.

Jesse Marsch will want his business done early, so this being in place from January certainly helps that and should give Aaronson months to get used to Leeds and the team before he starts next season.

If this can be announced officially in the coming days, the celebrations of staying in the league will continue long into the month of May and maybe even June.
