Confirmed Leeds United team news v Liverpool

Marcelo Bielsa has confirmed his Leeds United team news for the Premier League clash against Liverpool on Wednesday.

The Whites will be without Robin Koch, who was forced off after a heavy blow to the head against Manchester United, despite being described as “perfect” today.

Confirmed as shared by Leeds Live, Bielsa shared the latest on the German international after the incident.

Given that Koch and the treatment of the defender were defended heavily today, he may be back available against Spurs.

Concussion protocol suggests players should rest for six days, which takes him until Saturday, but Bielsa didn’t speak about that and instead about the cut and bleed.

Asked if there was any other team news, Bielsa responded blunt insinuating no changes: “No, none in particular.”

Big task.

Leeds are crying out for three points right now, but it is hard to imagine that coming here against the Reds.

Liverpool are in a brilliant run of form and have the likes of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Luis Diaz firing on all cylinders.

We were far too open at times against Manchester United on Sunday, and they took advantage at critical points in the second half.

That was after those crazy seconds that got us back into the game, something we can’t afford to do at Anfield.

If we are that open in Merseyside, it will be worst than Sunday, and Bielsa will know that, so let’s see what we can do with those available.
