Leeds United target Khayon Edwards set to sign new deal at Arsenal
Khayon Edwards is reportedly set to commit his future to Arsenal despite interest from other clubs including Leeds United.
According to Football London, talks have been heading in a positive direction as the Gunners look to tie down one of their best young prospects.
In a report by FourFourTwo, the Whites are attributed to hold an interest in the 18-year-old forward along with Chelsea and Newcastle United.

Would have been decent
Edwards is having a scintillating season at the junior level and could easily be the second or third choice for the Whites.
He has bagged 17 goals and provided six assists for the Gunners academy this season and it’s no surprise that he’s rated so highly by the club hierarchy.
The fact that he shares the same agent as Bukayo Saka has seen him being convinced into extending at the Emirates Stadium.
However, chances of him breaking into the first team so soon are few and far in between.
If possible, the Gunners should let Leeds sign him and issue a buyback clause in his contract.

This would ensure that his progress is also not halted and they could have a readymade first-team player when they want in the future.
The teenage sensation who has been labelled “deadly” would certainly be a welcome addition at Elland Road.
However, the chances of that happening seem to be minuscule as things stand so it’s not something worth losing any sleep over.
In other Leeds United news, the Whites are leading the race to complete a major signing and have already opened talks to seal a £25m deal.
