Spotted: Crysencio Summerville seen in protective boot in major Leeds United injury update
Leeds United star Crysencio Summerville has been pictured wearing a protective boot in a worrying injury update concerning the Dutchman.
Summerville limped off during the Whites’ 2-1 win over Elche in Spain on 8 December after colliding with one of the La Liga outfit’s defenders.
The Leeds All Over Twitter page revealed a photo showing Summerville wearing a protective boot whilst out and about this weekend, with Luis Sinisterra also suffering the same fate over the break.
“Summerville in a protective boot,” said the channel on Twitter.
This may suggest the player’s injury is worse than first feared and the youngster seems to be taking every precaution possible by wearing the boot.

Reinforcements.
Summerville’s injury has again highlighted the club’s need to look for reinforcements in January, especially in forward positions.
The youngster was just starting to achieve star status at Elland Road, scoring in his last four games with two match-winning goals.
And it’s hard to look past the team not missing the 21-year-old massively, Jesse Marsch will have to reevaluate his options up top and fast.
It’s going to be interesting to see how the team fares without Summerville’s darting chaos-causing runs, something that has been a real weapon for the Whites recently.
Sam Greenwood may be given more of a chance to shine now and impressed when he came on for the injured Summerville during the friendly win over Elche.
But he’ll have to hit the ground running quickly, there is no time to waste in the hectic Premier League calendar, one that the Whites need to build some momentum in.
In other Leeds United news, a Premier League legend has made a move to sign this Leeds player ahead of January.
