Leeds United strong contenders to sign Hearts sensation and Manchester United target James Wilson
Leeds United are strong contenders to sign Manchester United and Celtic target James Wilson, who is currently at Hearts.
According to Edinburgh News [17 April], the Scottish club have given the 16-year-old permission to speak to clubs and have also offered him a new deal.
However, if he doesn’t accept it and decides to move south of the border, Leeds or any other Premier League side will have to shell out north of £100,000 to sign him.

Act quickly
Beating Celtic and Manchester United, among other clubs, to his services, may be a challenge for the Whites so they need to act quickly.
Celtic are the biggest team in Scotland and that’s the dream side for anyone who wants to be there and compete in the SPFL.
In terms of Manchester United, they can offer him wages in excess of what Leeds can and the Whites’ dicey future in the Premier League also poses a big risk.

What Leeds can give him is a quicker pathway to first-team football as they have done with many a youngster in the past.
Wilson, who’s played for the Under-18s and B Team at Hearts has been classed among the “Most talented” youngsters to emerge from their academy in recent years.
He could be ready to feature for the under-21s at Elland Road and perhaps in a couple of years vie for a spot in the first team.
In other Leeds United news, Ian Wright cannot believe his eyes after footage surfaces of a Leeds player on social media.
