Leeds United starlet Mateusz Bogusz set to leave Elland Road on loan again
WP SportoweFakty have reported that Leeds United starlet Mateusz Bogusz is set to leave the Whites on loan for another season.
They claim that their “findings” have revealed that the 19-year-old is set to join UD Ibiza on a temporary loan move until the end of the season. The report states that Bogusz arrived in Spain on Monday morning, and this loan is to try and get him some more first-team experience.
They also claim that Bogusz is one of the “most talented” Polish players but that it is “too early” for him to break into the first team at Elland Road, which explains why he has gone out on loan.
Is this the right move for Bogusz?
During the 2020/21 campaign, the Pole was sent on loan to UD Logrones, but he only managed 24 appearances for them, and he will have to hope that this loan move proves to be more successful.
In the past, Mateusz Klich has claimed Bogusz has a “big future” [LeedsLive].
Marcelo Bielsa has also praised him, suggesting that the Argentine rates him but perhaps doesn’t see a path to the first team for him yet [Yorkshire Evening Post].
The 19-year-old has played in three first-team games for Leeds, but this loan move makes sense and should allow him to gain some more first-team experience.
It must be remembered that Bogusz is still very young and has a long career ahead of him, so this looks to be a wise decision from both Leeds and the young Pole.
We will have to see how this loan move works out, but hopefully, he returns to Elland Road as a much more complete player and perhaps at the stage where he can compete for a first-team spot.
In other Leeds United news, the Whites are looking to sign 13-goal winger.
