Leeds United star scored the last time England played Wales at Wembley – This is what happened
England take on Wales in a friendly at Wembley on Thursday for the first time since 2020.
Leeds currently have nine players on international duty, yet none of them will represent England.
The last time a Leeds player was called up to represent England was Kalvin Phillips back in 2022.
When England took on Wales at Wembley in 2020, one current Leeds player managed to find himself on the scoresheet, with The Three Lions easing to a comfortable 3-0 victory.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin scored in last England vs Wales meeting at Wembley
Calvert-Lewin marked his England debut with a brilliant header to put England in front, before goals from Conor Coady and Danny Ings put the game beyond doubt.
The 28-year-old was playing for Everton at the time and started the 2020-21 season brilliantly, scoring two hat-tricks in the opening weeks of the season for the Toffees.
Calvert-Lewin has struggled since moving to Leeds, with the striker scoring his only goal in the 3-1 win over Wolves in September.
Dealing with a lack of confidence, Calvert-Lewin has missed glorious opportunities for Leeds throughout the season, yet continues to get the nod over Lukas Nmecha and Joel Piroe.

Playing for Leeds at the time, fan-favourite Phillips also performed well in the 2020 win over Wales, providing a great delivery which led to Danny Ings’ acrobatic goal.
Phillips was outstanding in England’s Euro 2020 campaign, playing a huge part in guiding them to their first major final since 1966.
Since his move to Man City, Phillips has struggled to gain regular minutes due to injury issues, and went out on loan to Ipswich and West Ham in the last two seasons.

Whilst Leeds won’t have any players featuring for England, several familiar faces will be representing Wales.
Leeds quartet can make their mark in England vs Wales match
Wales have failed to beat England since 1977, when Leighton James’ penalty secured a famous win for The Dragons at Wembley.
Karl Darlow, Ethan Ampadu, and Joe Rodon could all start for Wales as Craig Bellamy looks to continue his promising start as manager.
Ampadu should resume his place in the starting line-up, having missed the last international break due to injury, with Dan James missing out this time around.
Despite it being a friendly, England and Wales will always be a tasty affair, and Leeds’ trio could write themselves in the history books with a win at Wembley.
