Leeds United slap huge valuation on Tottenham Hotspur target Jack Harrison

Tottenham Hotspur will reportedly have to pay a hefty transfer fee if they are to sign Leeds United attacker Jack Harrison.

According to Sky Sports, the Whites have put a “huge valuation” on the 25-year-old who has been in demand recently.

Spurs have also been linked with a move for Leeds’ Raphinha but face major competition from Europe’s top clubs including Barcelona and Chelsea.

Sky’s Lyall Thomas wrote, “Spurs have also inquired about #PSV’s Cody Gakpo, I can exclusively reveal, but he is one of many #Netherlands players told by Louis van Gaal he must be playing regularly to get in the #WorldCup2022 squad. #thfc also like Jack Harrison a lot but has a huge valuation.”

Three exits?

Leeds will not be able to handle a window in which they lose three of their best outfield players.

Fans have come to terms with the fact that Raphinha and maybe even Kalvin Phillips will leave but losing Harrison too would just add injury to their wounds.

The plan obviously will be to retain his services and that’s precisely why they will demand the moon for his sale.

Spurs already have three quality attackers so will be put off if Leeds are asking for a high transfer fee.

Phillips now seems set to join Manchester City so that’s a major loss but Leeds can reinvest the funds in the rest of their squad.

Signings are going to be imperative with such a major overhaul and Jesse Marsch is certainly going to need his players to overachieve given how difficult things are going to be for Leeds.

In other Leeds United news, Fabrizio Romano has shared if a ‘Sensational’ defensive midfielder has agreed terms for an Elland Road switch and become the club’s fourth summer signing.
