And according to the report, the Whites are set to make a number of key appointments behind-the-scenes as they look to kick off their huge preparations ahead of the 2023/24 campaign.

Right decision

With a gruelling and testing Championship campaign on the horizon, this may well prove to be one of the most important decisions over the past decade for Leeds United, especially with ambitions to make an immediate Premier League return.

The pressure is certainly on 49ers Enterprises, after their confirmed full takeover, to make the right choice in regards to the new boss as it could potentially have a positive or negative domino effect on how things pan out from here on in.

And it seems as though the American investors and the Elland Road bosses have made their decision in choosing Farke as their next manager, and given his superb record in the English Second division, Leeds have certainly made the right and best decision for their immediate future.

The German coach is a proven winner at this level, and with the Leeds faithful hugely expectant and demanding an immediate return to the Premier League this time next year, Farke is the best man to provide it.

Farke plays an attractive brand of football, works brilliantly with his players and will have an abundance of resources at Elland Road to ensure that should they get into the Premier League, he won’t suffer the same immediate fate he endured during his days as Norwich City manager.

With the club set to lose a number of key players, Leeds United will have a huge job replacing them and to complete that task, they need a plethora of experience and tact in the recruitment department this summer.

In other Leeds United news, Phil Hay has made a claim on any “obstacles” the Whites may have with an announcement mooted in the coming days.
