Leeds United are not expected to sack Daniel Farke at the current moment.

Farke is under huge pressure at Leeds, with the Whites sitting in 16th place in the Premier League, just one point above the relegation zone.

Farke was nearly dismissed by Leeds in the summer, but he is not under that type of pressure yet, according to a new update.

Sky Sports' Zinny Boswell claimed on 11 November that Farke is scheduled to take his broadcast interviews next week.

What do 49ers think about Daniel Farke sack?

Boswell states that the fact that Farke is due to speak to the media is a strong indication that the 49ers Enterprises believe that he is the right man to take the Elland Road side forward.

He claims that there is a belief amongst the Leeds hierarchy that their home form is a reason for optimism and that the club and the German feel that they are on course to remain in the top-flight at the end of the campaign.

That is despite the Opta supercomputer predicting Leeds to be relegated after the 3-1 defeat to Nottingham Forest.

Leeds surely cannot sack Farke in next four matches

The LS11 outfit face an extremely difficult run in their next four matches.

They face Aston Villa, Manchester City, Chelsea then Liverpool, which is a truly brutal spell of matches, especially with the speculation over the manager's future.

  • Farke's side have played 11 matches in the top-flight so far
  • They have won three matches, drawing two and losing six
  • They have a 51 per cent chance of relegation, according to the supercomputer

Those games should be regarded as a free hit for Farke, as his side are not expected to get any points from them anyway.

It would simply be a bonus if they do manage to get any from that period, and sacking the boss and looking for a replacement in that time would make it even more difficult.

It looks like Farke is set to hold on to his job for now, he must now focus on getting the players ready and motivated for the hardest part of their season so far.
