Leeds United representatives jet out of UK to look at another American-based player for major new transfer
Leeds United representatives have jetted into America to look at yet another player over a potential new transfer, according to 90min.
The online source has reported on their website that an American-based player, as well as New York City FC talisman Valentin Castellanos, is being looked at.
Victor Orta and Angus Kinnear have been spotted in New York this week, although these could be unnamed representatives with numerous moves mooted.

Writing in the latest report for 90min, Chris Smith and Graeme Baily shared an interesting twist on the American transfer hunt that appears to have started.
“The Whites have representatives currently in the United States and as well as Castellanos, are understood to be looking at another American-based player.
“Leeds have already brought in USMNT star Brenden Aaronson from RB Salzburg this summer, reuniting him with his former head coach and fellow American Jesse Marsch.”

American Revolution.
Have the 49ers Enterprises and Paraag Marathe put their foot down this summer with the idea of taking majority control of Leeds alongside Andrea Radrizzani?
Travelling to America and taking in these players is a big step given it is something we have never really done in the past when looking at transfers.
Castellanos could be a brilliant addition, with the Argentine striker hitting double figures in goals in consecutive seasons now and bringing MLS glory to New York City.
With more depth needed behind Patrick Bamford, bringing in a real poaching talisman is perfect given how much we have missed another centre-forward in the squad.
Could this unnamed player be another midfielder? That is the next area that is needed with Castellanos linked, Brenden Aaronson signed and Rasmus Kristensen on the verge of arriving.
That would represent the perfect start to this summer window – bring it on.
