Leeds United are ready to immediately pay £20million to sign Wolves for Hwang Hee-Chan, according to TEAMtalk on Monday 29 August.

The online outlet has reported on its website that the Whites are ready to go as soon as possible if the South Korean international becomes available.

Speculation is continuing to swirl this week as Jesse Marsch could seal a reunion with Hwang from their time together at RB Salzburg all those years ago.

Phil Hay reported on Monday that Andrea Radrizzani was now in England for the final few days of the window, taking in the action at Brighton over the weekend.

It is surely no coincidence that he has come across to West Yorkshire with Victor Orta likely having numerous names on his list to bring in if given the green light.

Everyone knows that a new striker has been the priority, but it was always labelled as one of those that would only happen should the right deal present itself.

Get it done.

This is the one transfer that would make perfect sense.

Our current options of Patrick Bamford, Rodrigo and Joe Gelhardt are all missing that lightning turn of pace, something that Hwang could bring to Elland Road.

There is no need to sign a player that brings the exact same thing to the table that our current options do, so Hwang ticks all of the boxes in that sense.

Marsch has backed players he has worked with previously to come in and make a difference this summer, and thankfully, they all already have done exactly that.

Hwang has watched Wolves bring in Goncalo Guedes already this summer, and they are know closing in on Stuttgart’s Sasa Kalajdzic, meaning the door could open for an exit.

Leeds are ready to go with £20million seemingly also ready and burning a hole in our back pocket as we wait for something to happen before Thursday’s deadline.

In other Leeds United news, the Whites now want to sign this striker with a rival set to kickstart a major £30million+ transfer battle
