Phil Hay has shared that Andrea Radrizzani is back in England for the final few days of the transfer window with Leeds United potentially not finished.

The Athletic journalist has shared that the last call of the window, whether to strengthen or leave it still feels like a huge call hanging over the owner and club.

Leeds could make moves for a new left-back and striker before the window slams shut on Thursday [01 September], although things have gone quiet on that front.

Writing in his latest piece for The Athletic, Hay shared what is hanging over the head of Radrizzani as he settles in for a week in his second home yet again.

“He sat through [the] game at Brighton, back in England for the closing days of the window.

“How indicative that is of last-minute business to come is hard to say but in Marsch’s comments about how strongly he appreciates Radrizzani’s backing, there is the tone of the coach who would not say no to another forward; who sees the benefit of having another one, even if that transfer does not alter the course of the season drastically.

“What he called Leeds’ ‘last decision’ a fortnight ago still feels like the big call hanging over them.”

Radrizzani simply has to pull his finger out here.

Victor Orta and his team will be constantly adding new names to the list that can strengthen this squad, and they just need that green light from Radz and Jesse Marsch.

A new striker is desperately needed with Rodrigo not in a position to start there and shine every week, and Patrick Bamford simply isn’t reliable anymore due to his injuries.

We can deal with not having another left-back for now with Pascal Struijk filling that gap admirably and Junior Firpo on the verge of a return from injury across the next week.

With Radz back in England, new signings are possible and we praying that we can see one, if not two new faces at Elland Road this week to keep the buzz going around.

It has been a good start to the season after the positive summer, and it is time to keep that going with some new signings this week, Radrizzani will know that given his return to England.

In other Leeds United news, the Whites now want to sign this striker with a rival set to kickstart a major £30million+ transfer battle
