Leeds United predicted XI v Burnley after Marcelo Bielsa team news reveal
Marcelo Bielsa is predicted to make three changes to the Leeds United starting line-up to play Burnley at Elland Road on Sunday.
Speaking to the media on Friday ahead of the Premier League clash, Bielsa confirmed that Junior Firpo, Diego Llorente, Jack Harrison and Daniel James are all fit and ready to play against Sean Dyche’s side.
As a result, we expect Bielsa to make three changes from the last starting line-up he announced when the Whites lost 4-1 to Arsenal on 18 December.
Cody Drameh, Mateusz Klich and Joe Gelhardt are expected to be dropped with Llorente, Firpo and James returning to the starting line-up in their place.
Illan Meslier is predicted to retain his spot in goal while Bielsa is likely to be able to name a back-four which features players in the right positions.
Luke Ayling could start at right-back with Firpo at left-back and Robin Koch and Llorente in the centre-half roles.
Stuart Dallas and Adam Forshaw are predicted to start in the centre of the midfield with Kalvin Phillips out for a few months and Klich, 31, being axed to the bench.
Leeds’ attack is just a Patrick Bamford away from being at full strength but as he’s lacking match fitness and won’t be available to play Burnley, we predict that Raphinha will start on the right, Harrison will be on the left with Tyler Roberts sitting in behind James.
Leeds really need to win this game to stop the bottom three moving closer to them as currently, Burnley sit in 18th place.
In other Leeds United news, a super-rich club is ready to sell a midfielder who’s wanted at Elland Road.
