Leeds United now have glorious chance to sign Nicolas Raskin after his falling out at Standard Liege
Leeds United could be licking their lips at the prospect of securing the services of Standard Liege midfielder Nicolas Raskin.

However, it wasn’t doom and gloom for Leeds as they signed Tyler Adams and Marc Roca who’ve done a decent job since signing for the club.
Fabrizio Romano shared a major update on Raskin’s future and he wrote on Twitter, “Nicolas Raskin, one to watch as talks on new deal with Standard collapsed: he has been sent to 2nd squad. He’s disappointed, wanted a smart solution for all parties.
“Raskin, 2001 talented midfielder out of contract in June: UK, French, Italian, German clubs are tracking him.”
While he hasn’t mentioned the clubs tracking him, Leeds could be one of those as Mateusz Klich appears to be leaving the club soon.
Raskin’s deal expires at the end of the season and Standard clearly do not want to do anything with him so he is free to leave.
As Leeds are an abroad club, the Belgian midfielder is free to agree a pre contract with the Elland Road outfit and join them for free in the summer.
If they do not want to wait, they could even bring him for a discounted fee in January, although signing a midfielder does not seem to be a priority over the next month.
He’s a versatile midfielder capable of playing a deep role as well as an attacking one and given his age, he’s sure to make Leeds a profit in the future so he’s one they must consider.
