Leeds United ace Stuart Dallas sends three-word message to Steven Davis after Rangers comments
Leeds United ace Stuart Dallas has sent a short message to Steven Davis on Instagram after the Rangers midfielder hinted at his future plans.
Davis has spent the past 11 months on the sidelines with a knee injury and suggested earlier this week he is unsure if he will resume playing.
The 38-year-old took to social media on Saturday (18 November) to thank Rangers for their support and said he is “excited” for what lies ahead.
In response, Northern Ireland team-mate Dallas posted: “Some man skip”, accompanied by a blue heart emoji.
Comeback trail
Dallas knows Davis well from his 12 years as part of the Northern Ireland senior set-up, and the pair have also become far too acquainted with the injury room in recent times.
Davis’ comeback is not really in sight as he battles back from a terrible knee injury sustained last year, while Dallas has not played any competitive football since April 2022.
Unlike compatriot Davis, though, Dallas does have a little more time on his hands to get back to full fitness and prolong his career, whether that is at Elland Road or somewhere else.
The 32-year-old recently stepped up his rehabilitation, and it may well be that he is back in a Leeds shirt in the not-too-distant future. That really will be a great sight to see.
Fingers crossed the long-serving midfielder still has more to give United before one day moving on.
In other Leeds United news, a first-team regular has been slammed for something “ridiculous” he did while on international duty.
