We’re delighted to welcome injury expert Dr Rajpal Brar as our exclusive columnist. Each week he’ll be giving his views on the injury situation at Leeds United...

There is still a possibility that Leeds United midfielder Stuart Dallas is not on course to return by the end of the year, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.

The injury expert believes that in case he is, he will be doing on-pitch training but the medics will ensure that it’s being done methodically.

In case he’s off track, most of the work that’s being done is off the field and the focus is on strength building.

Speaking exclusively to MOT Leeds News, Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and Sports Scientist, said about Dallas:

If he’s on course to return in December, he’s likely completing on-pitch training and they’re doing it very methodically.

If he’s not on course, and that is a possibility, he’s likely doing the majority of off-pitch work and strength being built up gradually.

This is a complicated situation so it clearly needs to be handled very carefully.

Dallas has not featured for Leeds since February 2022 after a broken femur sustained against Manchester City.

There were plans for him returning before the end of the year but he did sustain a setback in October, according to Daniel Farke.

It remains to be seen in what situation the Northern Irishman is as he’s vowed to return to the field of play after such a lengthy setback.

In other Leeds United news, sources reveal that the Whites want to sign an EFL ‘Star’ and his club may be forced to sell him in January.
